Pulsed Electrical Magnetic Field Therapy
Pulsed Electrical Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMFT) is a non-invasive technique whereby a dynamic electro-magnetic field is applied to a specific area of the body. The rising and falling of the field causes changes to the electrical charges within the soft tissue. Because all cells within the body function as a result of an electrical charge the application of the field can help stimulate the healing process.
It should be noted that the healing of soft tissue injuries is a natural process, however, PEMFT can optimise the conditions for healing.
Canine Rebalance uses Pulsed Electrical Magnetic Field Therapy in addition to other therapies to help promote the healing of soft tissue injuries and other conditions affecting your dog.
A typical treatment of this therapy simply requires the dog to be still and relaxed for approximately 10 minutes while the soft applicator is applied to their body.
There is no physical sensation associated with the therapy (the applicator does not get hot or vibrate) making this a calming and relaxing experience.
